

Many are even wondering why a single-player story-driven game has a login queue in the first place. Players are bashing Blizzard for not being able to fix their servers despite them being a company generating billions in revenue. Those playing on the console are now reporting high queue times when trying to play Diablo 2: Resurrected.īlizzard recently released patch 1.06 for the PlayStation 4 that shows a queue time if the waiting time is too much. While the patch introduced the queue system on PC, Blizzard seems to have extended it over to the PlayStation 4 already. As if that wasn’t enough, Blizzard recently introduced a queue system to the game so that they could fix server issues. Many were wondering why a 20-year-old game was having bugs in the first place. Several Diablo 2: Resurrected players reported that the game was crashing for them while others complained of lost progress and the disappearance of offline characters amongst many more bugs. However, not everything was sunshine and rainbow when the game was released on September 23 this year. Players can even import save files over from the original version of the game and continue from there. The 2D sprites are now replaced by 3D models along with several cutscenes remastered. The newer version refreshes the game’s graphics and network function without losing the original Diablo 2 experience. Fast forward to 2021, Blizzard decided to remaster the original title and named it Diablo 2: Resurrected.

The game was a huge commercial success and was loved by many. Diablo 2 is a hack and slash RPG that was published by Blizzard Entertainment back in 2000.
